If Nick Saban says the Alabama football team isn’t taking the field until the state reaches a 90% vaccination rate they’d hit that number by Monday.

TBH, The Guardians is much more authentically Cleveland than most jokesters on this website understand

These four statues--The Guardians of Transportation--are absolute icons in the city and familiar to anyone who has any sort of roots in the area https://t.co/8u0fx9SKI0 pic.twitter.com/vlifF39JjQ
This is absurd. FBI handed the tips on Kavanaugh to Trump’s team instead of investigating them. And it only comes out now. These sham investigations are not supposed to happen in civilized countries and I hope all involved resign immediately at a minimum. https://t.co/0IercnbWMm

Only 33.9% of Alabama residents are fully vaccinated, less than any other state, according to the CDC. Average daily cases in Alabama are nearly double what they were a week ago, per CNN's health team. "It's the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down," Gov. Ivey says.

Ohio Republican does not seem to realize that the team's new name draws inspiration from… Cleveland's history and tradition.

The Guardians of Traffic are the large art deco statues that adorn the Hope Memorial Bridge that connects Cleveland's west and east sides. https://t.co/8ThFMN0agS
I am glad to see that the Cleveland baseball team is finally changing its name. The long practice of using Native American mascots and imagery in sports team has been harmful to Indigenous communities. This is a welcome and necessary change.
